Duplex 2507 offers superior performance with PREN >40, high thermal conductivity (reducing hot spots), and NO.4 finish for uniform corrosion resistance.

High nickel (7%) and molybdenum (4%) content provides excellent resistance to mixed acid dew point corrosion. The NO.4 brushed finish eliminates sharp crevices that could initiate corrosion.
Use 2507 grade for open-loop scrubbers operating with seawater. For closed-loop systems using fresh water, 2205 grade may be sufficient. Always verify IMO compliance for your specific application.
