Introduction of Fire Resistant Plasterboard

Firer resistant gypsum board, also known as refractory gypsum board or refractory dryboard, is a building material used to improve the fire resistance of walls and ceilings. It is usually made of gypsum gypsum and various additives (including glass fiber or vermiculite) to give it better fire protection.

Fire resistant plasterboard is commonly used in commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools and high-rise buildings, where fire safety is a primary concern. It is also used in residential buildings, especially in areas prone to wildfires or in buildings with wood furnaces or fireplaces.

Feature of Fire Resistant Plasterboard

1. High fire resistance: refractory gypsum board is specially designed to provide a high level of fire resistance. It can withstand a fire for a specified time, usually up to 120 minutes, depending on the thickness of the plate.
2. Excellent thermal insulation: fireproof gypsum board has excellent heat insulation performance. It helps to prevent the spread of the fire as it contains heat and prevents it from reaching other areas of the building.
3. Low flue gas emission: refractory gypsum board has the characteristics of low smoke emission. This means that it produces very little smoke from the fire, which helps to improve the visibility and safety of the residents in the building.
