Prepainted galvanized steel coils are composite materials consisting of a galvanized steel

substrate coated with organic paint layers. They combine the corrosion resistance of zinc

coating with the decorative and weather-resistant properties of colored coatings, widely

used in construction, appliances, and transportation industries. 

Mechanical Properties

Tensile Strength: 280-550 MPa 

Yield Strength: 140-350 MPa

Elongation: 15%-30%

Hardness: HRB 40-80

Bendability: Capable of 180° bending (T-bend test: 2T-4T qualified)

Thermal Properties

Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to 120°C (long-term)

Instantaneous Heat Resistance: Up to 200°C (special coatings)

Coefficient of Thermal Expansion: 11.5×10⁻⁶/°C (similar to carbon steel)

Surface Texture

Smooth Surface: Mirror-like finish

Fine Texture: Slight orange-peel effect

Embossed Surface: Regular patterns (wood grain, stone, etc.)

Sandblasted Surface: Uniform matte texture
