1070 aluminum is a commercially pure aluminum alloy (≥99.7% Al) known for its excellent

electrical/thermal conductivity, formability, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in ind

-ustries requiring lightweight, non-structural components.

Key Properties

Composition: 99.7% Al, with trace Fe/Si impurities.

Density: 2.71 g/cm³ (lightweight).

Conductivity: ≥62% IACS (ideal for electrical applications).

Corrosion Resistance: Natural Al₂O₃ oxide layer resists atmospheric/chemical exposure.

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile Strength: 60–95 MPa (annealed).

Elongation: ≥25% (excellent ductility).
