5083 aluminum alloy is the highest strength corrosion-resistant alloy among practical non-heat-treated alloys, making it ideal for welding structures.
Commonly used in chemical transport tankers with H321 or H116/H117 tempers, with thicknesses typically ranging from 6 mm to 12 mm.
