Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Round Bar SS400 Astm A36 Black Finish
Carbon steel bar is a kind of general-purpose steel bar that offers excellent formability and weldability, being used in a wide variety of applications including auto manufacturing, shipbuilding, aerospace industry, petrochemical plants, auto-power and wind-engine, metallurgical machinery, precision tools, etc.
A36 is an American standard specified in ASTM A36. This standard is applicable to riveted, bolted and welded structures for bridges and construction, as well as to carbon steel sections, plates and rods for general purpose structural steels. A36 is the most common used hot-rolled carbon constructional steel. It has a minimum yield strength of 36k psi and easily welding.

HEAT TREATMENT
It can be heat treated at the following temperatures:
- Normalizing at 899°C – 954°C (1650°F-1750°F)
- Annealing at 843°C – 871°C (1550°F-1600°F)
- Stress relieving at 677°C – 927°C (1250°F-1700°F)
- Carburizing at 899°C – 927°C (1650°F-1700°F)
- Hardening at 788°C – 816°C (1450°F-1500°F)
