Material Description
Alloy 304L is a T-300 series austenitic stainless steel containing minimum 18% chromium and 8% nickel. With a maximum carbon content of 0.030%, it represents the standard "18/8 stainless" commonly used in cookware and kitchen tools. As the most versatile and widely used alloy in the stainless steel family, 304L offers excellent corrosion resistance, outstanding formability, and high ease of fabrication. Austenitic stainless steels are considered the most weldable high-alloy steels and can be welded using all fusion and resistance welding processes.
