C24000 brass, also known as Low Leaded Brass, contains 80% copper (Cu) and 20% zinc (Zn). The lead content improves machinability, formability, and corrosion resistance. Note: Lead is a toxic substance requiring proper safety measures during handling and processing.

C24000 brass features a density of 8.66 g/cm³ and melting points of 966°C (solidus) to 999°C (liquidus). This non-magnetic alloy offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for electrical contacts and heat exchangers.

C24000 brass is widely used in architectural hardware, valve stems, decorative accessories, plumbing fixtures, musical instruments, and ammunition cartridges. Its lead content makes it suitable for low-pressure plumbing applications by reducing dezincification risk. Also used in marine applications due to excellent corrosion resistance.
