What is a Linear Slide Potentiometer
Linear slide potentiometer also known as the slider or fader, the linear potentiometers are similar to the Rotary Potentiometer but instead of the wiper moving in an angular movement, it moves linearly.
It consists of pins connected to an adjustable slider, of which the other two pins are connected at either end of the output circuit, where the slider slides over the resistor by a track attached along the resistor.
In the linear potentiometer family, there are various types:
