Description of Rotary Switch
A rotary switch is a switch operated by rotation. These are often chosen when more than 2 locations are needed, such as a three-speed fan or CB radio with multiple receiving frequencies or "channels". The rotary switch will always have clear click sound when you rotate it to change the band.
Application:
Used as channel selectors on signal receivers, as well as range selectors on electric meter equipment and band selectors on multi-band radios, etc....
