What is Slide Switch

A slide switch is an electromechanical device that controls the  current flow in a circuit path.The series of devices are driven by sliding mechanical switches. The slide switch uses a slider that moves from the open (off) position to the closed (on) position.These characteristics include contact timing,circuit, switching function,voltage rating (AC or DC),current rating,and actuator type.
