Flexible UHMWPE pipe is continually extruded by special extruders and specially designed moulds. The UHMWPE material is difficult to be extruded, with higher requirements to the machines. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe has superior performance over conventional HDPE pipe such as very high wear resistance, impact resistance, excellent resistance to internal pressure strength, resistance to environmental stress cracking, intrinsically self-lubricating, anti-adhesion, low temperature resistance and excellent chemical resistance.which are among the best in the plastics.

HDPE pipe is easy to be produced by the polyethylene material with much lower molecular weight, which does not need advanced technology. HDPE pipes have higher production capacity, but its performances, like wear resistance and impact resistance is far beyond UHMWPE pipes.

In 2015, we have made hydraulic slope test on the UHMWPE pipeline, with the conclusion that the water head loss of the same diameter UHMWPE pipeline is 30% less than HDPE pipeline and 50% less than steel pipeline, which means that the UHMWPE pipeline can hlep you save pump fuel engine cost, and save pump station.

1. High wear resistance

4 to 7 times of steel pipe, 2.3 times of HDPE. That means it's Working Life can reach 3 times longer than Steel pipe at least in the same abrasion condition.

UHMWPE pipe is Non-Broken in the Izod Impact Test (unnotched), it's impact strength is more than 140 KJ/ M², do the best in plastic pipes.

UHMWPE Pipe offers a smooth, non-wettable interior suface, that accounts for a Hazen-Williams Flow Coefficient of C=160. While steel pipe: C=130(new), C=95(old), C=60~80(for bad medium, such as lime slurry)
5. High Flow-Rate
UHMWPE pipe's Frication Coefficient is 1/6 of steel pipe, Flow-Rate is 50% higher than steel pipe. That means you can use smaller diameter UHMWPE pipe for same flowing capacity, more convenient and more cheaper.
6.Resistant to Scale and Scale Build up
UHMWPE has outstanding Resistance to Scale and Scale Build up, that keep long term smooth inner face, means long term High Flow-Rate. And decrease cleaning charge.
7.Unique Resistance to Low Temperature
UHMWPE pipe with Working temperature -269 to 80 degrees Celsius, can maintain High Impact Strength even in low temperature as -196 centigrade.

UHMWPE with Tensile Strength 500kg/cm², Elongation at Break 300%, so it can resistant to sudden bend ex. earth subsidence without break.

UHMWPE with light weight 1/8 of steel, so it is easy to handle. It's installation charge is only about 10% of pipe amount, while steel pipe is 20%.
