Tempered insulated glass is a high-performance glass assembly consisting of two or more glass panes separated by an aluminum spacer frame filled with high-efficiency molecular sieve adsorbents. The edges are sealed with high-strength sealant to create an insulated air space. Various glass types can be used as substrates including clear glass, tinted glass, heat-reflective coated glass, Low-E glass, laminated glass, tempered glass, and hot-bending glass.
