White Translucent Laminated Safety Glass with 1.14mm PVB Interlayer
Joy Shing Laminated Safety Glass is manufactured using two or more layers of clear float glass bonded together with a clear or colored PVB interlayer. Through specialized high-temperature pre-pressing (or vacuum) and high-temperature high-pressure processing, the glass and interlayer form a permanent, inseparable bond.
Even when broken, laminated glass fragments remain adhered to the PVB film, maintaining a clean, smooth surface that effectively prevents splinter puncture injuries and falling penetration incidents. At equivalent thicknesses, laminated glass demonstrates superior impact resistance, sound insulation, and explosion-proof characteristics compared to ordinary glass.
