The GE DS200LPPAG1AAA is a Line Protection Panel Board designed exclusively for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System—one of the final GE product lines to integrate the brand’s patented Speedtronic control technology. It is a revised variant of the original DS200LPPAG1 parent board, incorporating three key updates that enhance its line protection capabilities, distinguishing it from the base model.

Functionally, its core role is line protection for turbine control systems, supported by specialized hardware: seven configurable jumpers and two terminal blocks. The jumpers serve targeted purposes: JP1–JP3 for MOV/AC line filter blown fuse indication, JP4/JP7 for AC/DC side analog ground current sensing, JP5 for grounding resistor bridge voltage application, and JP6 for SCR ripple filtering. Test points are also included for maintenance checks, and the board mounts on standoffs of another drive component, with signal wires originating from that component.

For troubleshooting and operation, it leverages the drive’s diagnostic tools to generate health reports on functions and components—reports can be viewed on the panel or downloaded to a laptop for comparison before/after repairs. A menu-driven interface enables additional tasks: downloading/uploading files via a laptop, accessing drive configuration sections to edit parameters, and direct drive control via a keypad. The keypad allows operators to start/stop the drive and adjust speed without modifying core settings.
