Meet the TU849—MTU for redundant Optical ModuleBus Modem TB840/TB840A setups.

What it does

It’s a passive unit with dual power supply, connects two TB840/TB840A modems to a single electrical ModuleBus. Use the rotary switch to set cluster address (1-7).

Easy to configure

Four mechanical keys (6 positions each) let you match the right module types—36 configurations total. Adjust with a screwdriver, no hassle.

Simple to install

Mounts on standard DIN rail. Has a latch (locks/unlocks with screwdriver) to keep it secure and grounded.

Key difference from TU848

TU848 links to redundant I/O; TU849 connects to non-redundant I/O—both have individual power supply.
