Foxboro FEM100 Fieldbus Expansion Module
The Foxboro FEM100 is an expansion module designed to increase the capacity of the FCP270 field control processor. It adds four expanded fieldbus channels, allowing the FCP270 to connect to up to 128 200 Series (or equivalent) Fieldbus Modules (FBMs). Installed on a modular DIN‑rail baseplate (available in two‑slot or four‑slot configurations), the FEM100 supports high‑speed 2 Mbps HDLC communication and includes redundancy to minimize communication disruption. Designed for harsh industrial environments (Class G3), it is used exclusively with the FCP270 and is suitable for both upgrades to existing systems and new installations in process automation applications.
