Choke and kill manifolds are important equipment for preventing blowout, controlling pressure changes in oil and gas wells, and ensuring the continuous implementation of underbalanced drilling. After the well is shut in due to a kick, the varying degrees of opening and closing of the throttle valve are used to control the fixed casing pressure, maintain stable bottom hole pressure, and prevent further formation fluid from flowing into the well. When normal circulation cannot be achieved through drilling tools, drilling fluid can be pumped into the well through the kill manifold to restore and rebuild bottom hole pressure balance.
