Unequal angle steel can be used for a huge array of purposes where uneven support is required in a project. For example, vehicles are usually asymmetrical or carrying more weight in certain parts than others, therefore uneven steel bars could be a practical form of structural reinforcement.Equal angle bars, standardized to EN 10056-1 (1998) and tolerances to EN 10056-2 (1993), have two parallel legs of the same length (size), whereas unequal angles have legs of two different sizes.
