This provides moderate corrosion resistance and helps protect the washer from rust and other forms of corrosion. Zinc-plated F436 washers are often used in applications where the washer is not exposed to harsh environments or where additional corrosion protection measures are applied.
2.HDG (Hot-Dip Galvanized): HDG involves immersing the washer in a bath of molten zinc, forming a thick, protective coating on the surface. HDG provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications where the washer will be exposed to harsh or corrosive environments. HDG F436 washers are commonly used in outdoor applications, such as construction, infrastructure, and marine projects.
The choice between zinc plated and HDG depends on the specific requirements of your application, including the environmental conditions and the level of corrosion resistance needed.
