API 16D Koomey BOP Control Unit
The BOP control system is essential equipment for controlling blowout preventers and hydraulic gate valves during drilling and well workover operations. BOP Control System Selection Guidelines
- Liquid Volume Requirements: Accumulator available volume should be 2 times greater than required BOP closing volume
- Pump System Requirements: Minimum two pump systems capable of charging accumulators from precharge to RWP within 15 minutes
- API 16D Compliance: Systems meet API Spec 16D standards with proper certification
- Environmental Adaptation: Suitable for various operating conditions including offshore platforms
