The LoRaWAN IoT water meter integrates advanced wireless technology with precision measurement capabilities. Featuring a mechanical and electrical separation design, this industrial-grade water meter combines a base meter, electric ball valve, magnetoresistive sensor, MCU, wireless communication module, and control circuitry.
Powered by high-capacity lithium sub-battery packs, it ensures long-term stable operation for data acquisition, valve control, and wireless transmission. Utilizing LoRaWAN wireless communication with spread spectrum technology, the meter automatically uploads user water data to the LoRaWAN gateway (once daily by default), which then transmits to the system data center via LTE 4G or Ethernet.
The dry structure design isolates the counting mechanism from measured water, preventing interference from suspended impurities and eliminating fogging or condensation issues common in wet water meters.
