Product Description
Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder uses hydraulic power to expand and contract. The Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder will have two ports. The first port is where the "forward" (extended) hydraulic hose connector will be connected, and the second port is where the "retracted" hydraulic hose connector will be connected.
Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder alternately circulates pressurized fluid to both sides of the piston, and generates extension and contraction forces to move the piston rod to better control the movement. A control system consisting of 2-position, 3-position, and 4-position valves is required to achieve the movement required by your application.

Working principle
Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder is a hydraulic cylinder in which fluid (pressure) can be guided to either side of the internal piston through a control unit, so that the plunger can move in any direction under pressure. When fluid is pumped into one end of the cylinder, forcing the plunger to push the cylinder downward or upward, when the piston occupies space, the fluid on the non-pressure side will return to the reservoir.

Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinder has hydraulic oil on the base and rod side of the piston, and the force is transmitted in two directions, and it can be retracted and extended without external force. More common than single-acting hydraulic cylinders, they can work at any angle and in almost all applications that require hydraulic power.
