How Excavator uses Hydraulics?
Excavator hydraulic cylinders are operated by using hydraulic pressure, where liquid is the motive medium. Here, hydraulic fluid is transmitted to various hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders throughout the machine and pressurized according to the existing resistance. The fluid is directly or automatically controlled by the control valve and distributed through hoses and pipes.
Due to the ability to transmit very large power through small pipes and flexible hoses, as well as high power density and a wide range of cylinders, excavators have gained tremendous power to perform heavy earthmoving works.
Depending on the pressure of the load, there may be two types of excavation. One is the excavation movement with a large excavation load, in which the interaction with the ground material has a large uncertain effect. The other is the excavation movement with a small excavation load, and the influence of the uncertainty of the interaction with the stratum material is small.
