ADVANTAGES AND MAIN FEATURES
1-Cement basket is used in stage cementing to prevent cement column from displacing downwards the drilling fluid.
2- Cement basket should be installed on the bottom of the formation where cementation is required.
3-Cement basket is usually installed on the casing over the weak formations to support long columns of cement and prevent the weak
formations from the pressure of cement column.
4 -Petals are arranged in an over-lapping pattern that allows for maximum flexibility and fluid passage from below.
