Description of UL FM200 Fire Extinguishing System
Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) is a clean and safe fire extinguishing agent that can be used in fully submerged automatic fire extinguishing systems, replacing Halon 1301, and maintaining the excellent fire extinguishing performance of Halon fire extinguishing agent without causing any environmental problems.
The safety of the heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) fire extinguishing system in total flooding applications is safer than Halon 1301, with a safe exposure concentration of 9% accepted by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Meanwhile, the ozone depletion value (ODP) of HFC-227ea is 0, non-conductive, clean, and residue free.
