The R&S®FSWP phase noise analyzer and VCO tester delivers exceptional sensitivity through extremely low-noise internal sources and cross-correlation technology. It rapidly measures phase noise and amplitude noise on highly stable sources, including those used in radar applications. Additional capabilities such as pulsed signal measurements, residual phase noise characterization (including pulsed), and integrated high-end signal and spectrum analysis make the R&S®FSWP a unique test instrument.
With fully digital signal processing, the R&S FSWP performs complex measurements at the push of a button and features intuitive touchscreen operation. It efficiently measures phase noise of pulsed sources and residual phase noise under pulsed conditions, making it ideal for aerospace, defense, and automotive applications—particularly for manufacturers of radar components and synthesizers. The integrated voltage sources also make the R&S FSWP perfect for VCO measurements in research, development, and high-speed production environments.
The R&S FSWP8 and R&S FSWP26 models (covering 8 GHz and 26 GHz frequency ranges) became available in September 2015, while the R&S FSWP50 model (extending to 50 GHz) was released at the end of 2015.
