Steel plates are flat sheets of steel that are poured with steel, cooled and pressed. It is flat, rectangular and can be rolled directly or sheared from wide steel strip. Steel plate is divided by thickness, thin steel plate <4mm (thinnest 0.2mm), medium thick steel plate 4~60mm, extra thick steel plate 60~115mm. Steel plates are divided by rolling, into hot-rolled and cold-rolled. The width of thin plate is 500~1500mm; the width of thick is 600~3000mm.
