ERW Manufacturing Process
Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) employs rotating copper disc electrodes that apply both pressure and high-current AC power to the pipe joint. The localized high electrical resistance at the joint interface generates sufficient heat to reach melting temperature, while simultaneous pressure application creates a uniform fusion bond, resulting in structurally sound welded pipes with consistent quality.
