Stub End Types
Type A
Designed for standard lap joint flanges with lap thickness ≥ nominal pipe wall thickness. Features outer corner radius to accommodate lap joint flange and square inner corner. Lap typically has machined serrated face.
Type B
Used with standard slip-on flanges as lap flanges. Lap thickness ≥ nominal pipe wall thickness with small outer corner radius to receive slip-on backup flange. Square inner corner with machined serrated face.
Type C
Compatible with both lap joint and slip-on flanges. Flared design with rounded inner diameter edge (can be squared if needed). Lap thickness is 75% of pipe wall with smooth, non-machined lap joint.
