SWEEPOLET Stainless Steel High Pressure Fittings With SCH120 Wall Thickness
SWEEPOLET Stainless Steel High Pressure Fittings
Product Information
Sweepolets are commonly used in piping systems where a branch connection is required without the need for additional fittings like elbows. They are suitable for various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, and power generation.A "Sweepolet" is a type of branch connection fitting used in piping systems, designed to provide a smooth flow transition from the run pipe to the branch pipe. When specified as "Stainless Steel Sweepolet," it indicates that the fitting is made of stainless steel material, offering corrosion resistance and durability.
Stainless Steel Sweepolets are manufactured using stainless steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance properties. Common stainless steel grades used include 304, 316, and 316L.
Sweepolets have a curved or sweeping outlet that allows for a smooth flow transition from the main pipe to the branch pipe. This design minimizes turbulence and pressure drop in the piping system.
