This 35kW gearless permanent magnetic generator is engineered for low head hydro turbine stations where the turbine shaft speed is only 150rpm. Removing the speed increasing gearbox eliminates lubrication maintenance and mechanical loss, while the multipole rotor keeps generator efficiency high even at such low speed.
