Turbidity curtain, silt barrier, silt screen, or turbidity barriers, as they are sometimes called, are floating oil spill containment boom used in marine construction, dredging, and remediation projects to control the silt and sediment in a body of water.
Marine turbidity screen for dredging are custom designed and manufactured specifically to project requirements. Complete information of specific hydraulic conditions at marine construction sites is important to ensure the marine containment booms system is properly designed and effective when deployed in those hydraulic conditions
Orange color turbidity screen are made of special grade high strength geotextiles that offer excellent water permeability whilst confining sediments and other materials withing the silt curtain barrier. The vertically suspended turbidity screen for dredging are stabilized with a flotation and mooring system. Complete with the necessary accessories such as floats, ballast chains, stay cables etc, the silt curtains are easily deployed during installation. Silt Curtain systems may be supplied as panels for assembly at site.

Structure:
1. Boom's membrane is PVC double-face coated reinforced fabric.
2. A top ridge rope, middle reinforced belts and a bottom balance chain on boom sections bear the longitudinal load, and form concaves both at the skirt in water and at the flexible sections above water when boom is in a current.
3. There are flexible sections between cross beam like floaters.
4. Easily connect boom sections, which are 20m long.
5. Every section has anchor seats.
