100kn/M Plastic HDPE Uniaxial Geogrid Geosynthetics Construction Material Soil Stabilization
Product Performance
Uniaxially stretched geogrid is a kind of high-strength geotextile, which is mainly made of high molecular polymer, added with certain anti ultraviolet and anti-aging additives, re oriented and arranged in a linear state through uniaxial stretching, extruded and pressed into thin plates, punched into regular pore networks, and then stretched longitudinally.
Product Features
In this process, the polymer is oriented in a linear state and forms a uniformly distributed, high node strength, long elliptical network overall structure. This structure has a relatively high tensile strength and modulus, reaching 100-200Mpa in tensile strength, which is close to the level of low-carbon steel and greatly superior to traditional or existing reinforced materials. It has a high early tensile strength and modulus (with an elongation of 2-5%) that exceeds international standards. A chain system that provides ideal force bearing and diffusion for the soil.
Scope of application
Roadbed, railway, runway to enhance the reinforcement of retaining wall, all kinds of embankment protection.

- Strengthening embankment slopes and retaining walls: Strengthening embankment slopes or retaining walls with geogrids can reduce land occupation by half, extend service life, and reduce costs by 20% to 50%.
- For landfill sites: The combination of geogrids and other geosynthetic materials can effectively solve the problems of uneven foundation settlement and uneven emissions of derived gases, and maximize the utilization of landfill storage capacity.
- Used to reinforce weak foundations: Geogrids can quickly improve the bearing capacity of the foundation and control the development of settlement. The lateral constraint of the roadbed can effectively disperse the load onto a wider roadbed, thereby reducing the thickness of the roadbed and engineering. Reduce costs, shorten construction period, and extend service life.
- Unidirectional plastic geogrid is used for reinforcement of asphalt or cement pavement: geogrid is laid at the bottom of asphalt or cement pavement, which can reduce the depth of ruts, extend the fatigue life of the pavement, and also reduce the thickness of asphalt or cement pavement to save costs
FAQ
1, What is the difference between uniaxial and biaxial geogrid?
Biaxial geogrids are those that exhibit the same strength in both the machine directions MD and cross-machine directions CMD while uniaxial geogrids exhibit the primary strength in the machine direction with minimal strength, enough to maintain the aperture structure, in the cross-machine direction.
2, How many types of geogrids are there?
There are three different types of geogrids: Uniaxial, Biaxial, and Triaxial . Each one is designed and manufactured for specific construction applications with various tensile strengths.
3: How long is the delivery time?
Generally it is 2-3 days if the goods are in stock. Or 10-15if not in stock, according to the quantity.
4:Do you provide samples?
A:Yes,samples are free.
