• Strong Ion Exchange Capacity: Nuclear-grade resin contains a large number of specific ion exchange groups, such as sulfonic acid groups and quaternary ammonium groups. These groups can quickly and efficiently carry out exchange reactions with ions in water. For example, the sulfonic acid groups of strongly acidic cation exchange resins can displace cations such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium in water, and the quaternary ammonium groups of strongly basic anion exchange resins can exchange with anions such as sulfate and chloride ions, effectively removing various ions in water.

• High Transformation Rate: The OH-type transformation rate of nuclear-grade resin, especially anion exchange resin, is required to reach and exceed 95%. A high transformation rate means that the resin has more active groups participating in the ion exchange reaction, which greatly improves the ability to remove ions in water and can minimize the residual harmful ions such as Cl⁻ in water.

• High-Purity Raw Materials: When producing nuclear-grade resin, high-purity raw materials are used, and the impurity content is strictly controlled to reduce impurities such as sulfonic acid, ammonium, copper, iron, and lead that may affect the water quality. This ensures that the resin will not release additional impurities during the water treatment process, guaranteeing the effluent water quality.
• Precise Synthesis and Processing: By precisely controlling the polymerization reaction conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and reaction time, as well as special post-treatment processes, the resin has a uniform particle size and an ideal pore size distribution. Uniform particles are beneficial for the uniform passage of water through the resin layer, reducing the phenomena of water flow short-circuiting and uneven flow, and improving the exchange efficiency. A suitable pore size allows ions in water to smoothly enter the interior of the resin and come into contact with the exchange groups, while preventing macromolecular impurities from entering, ensuring the performance of the resin and the effluent water quality.
