Dibutyltin Dilaurate T-12

Application and Properties

Dibutyltin dilaurate is a gelation catalyst to produce polyurethane elastomers, polyurethane paints, polyurethane foams, etc. It is also a thermal stabilizing agent mainly used in processing of transparent PVC products. Moreover, T-12 is also a catalyst to produce silicone rubber products and one of the photic and thermal stabilizing agents used for polyamide and phenolic resins.

Solubility

T-12 is soluble in most of organic solvents but insoluble in water.

Storage and Precautions

This product is poisonous. In case of any contact with your skin, immediately clean and wash with water and cleanser. It must be sealed and stored in cool and dry place, and its shelf life is 12 months.
