The weight mixing ratio for this material is 10:1. Both Group A and Group B components are supplied from the machine's attached storage section and are mixed through a static mixer before being injected into the mold. The pot life of the material is 8 hours at 25℃ after being mixed, but higher temperatures may reduce it.

When using manual or semi-mechanical methods, it is recommended to use specialized equipment such as a small planetary mixer for complete mixing. Be careful when stirring manually and avoid scratching the bottom and walls of the container. To ensure that there are no air bubbles in the cured rubber, place the mixture in a vacuum degassing tank along with its container. The mixture will automatically break bubbles to collapse and rise to 3-4 times higher than the original location. Keep the vacuum status for at least 4-6 minutes before releasing.

If the injection molding equipment will not be used for an extended period, clean any remaining rubber promptly or store them in sealed packaging at low temperatures (-10℃ at least).
 

Curing Conditions

Heat acceleration can be used for vulcanization. The curing time is dependent on the size of the mold.

For larger molds, it's important to take into account the necessary time for thermal conduction. Additionally, the cooling and demolding time will vary based on the size of the article as well as the curing temperature.

Compatibility

The cure of the product may be restrained by specific materials, chemicals, curing agents, and plasticizers. The most significant of these are:

- Organotin and other organometallic compounds.
- Organotin catalyst present in silicone rubber.
- Sulfur, polysulfides, polysulfones, or other materials containing sulfur.
- Amines, urethanes, or materials containing amines.
- Plasticizers having unsaturated hydrocarbon.
- Certain solder flux residues.

To determine if a substrate or material has the potential to inhibit cure, it is advisable to perform a small-scale compatibility test to assess its suitability for a specific application. If there is liquid or uncured product at the interface between the cured gel and the questionable substrate, it indicates that there is incompatibility and inhibition of cure.

Over the years, it has been confirmed that components belonging to both group A and group B do not contain any toxic or aggressive substances. Therefore, there is no requirement for special preventive measures, and the general industrial health standards should be followed.

To prevent inactivation, it is advisable to avoid contact with nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur compounds, organic tin, or other heavy metal compounds. Additionally, it is important to keep the containers clean.

The pot life of mixed rubber is affected by temperature, with higher temperatures resulting in shorter pot life.
