The LNK304GN LinkSwitch-TN IC is designed to replace linear and capacitor-fed non-isolated power supplies in applications requiring up to 360 mA output current. This integrated offline switcher offers superior performance and energy efficiency while maintaining competitive system costs.

  • Lowest component count buck converter solution
  • Fully integrated auto-restart for short-circuit and open loop protection
  • 66 kHz switching frequency with accurate current limiting
  • 700V high breakdown voltage for excellent input surge withstand
  • Frequency jittering reduces EMI by ~10 dB, minimizing filter costs
  • High thermal shutdown temperature (+135°C minimum)
Superior Performance
Supports buck, buck-boost and flyback topologies with system-level thermal overload, output short-circuit, and open control loop protection. Features universal input voltage range (85-265 VAC) and excellent line/load regulation.
Energy Efficiency
Consumes only 50/80 mW at 115/230 VAC input with no load. Complies with California Energy Commission (CEC), Energy Star, and EU energy efficiency requirements.
