White fused alumina is made of high-quality aluminum oxide powder and crystallized through electrical melting extraction. It has the characteristics of high purity, well self-sharpening, acid-base corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and stable thermal performance etc.. Compared with brown fused alumina, it has slightly higher hardness and lower toughness, stronger abrasive ability, lower calorific value and higher efficiency. If the tools are made of white fused alumina, they are applicable in grinding fine grained abrasive materials such as high carbon steel, high-speed steel and stainless steel etc.. It can also be used for precision casting and advanced refractory materials.
Properties of white fused alumina: white, harder and more brittle than brown fused alumina, stronger cutting force, well chemical stability and insulation.
