The production process of alumina powder :
Alumina powder is made of bauxite, the main ore of aluminum. The bauxite consists of a mixture of gibbsite, boehmite, iron oxide, iron hydroxide, quartz and clay minerals. Alumina is extracted by the Bayer process, in which the chemical composition AL2O3 ( active alumina powder ) is distilled from the bauxite mixture. The unique characteristics that make alumina the ideal choice for aluminum production, especially those applications that require hardness and wear resistance or other forms of chemical wear.
