Description
The IMX179 – 8.0 MP Fixedfocus USB Camera Module features the IMX179 color sensor from Sony. The sensor has a 1/3.2″ optical format, which combined with the pixel size of 1.4 µm x 1.4 µm provides the 8.0 MP 3264 x 2448 image. This is a rolling shutter sensor, which captures an entire column (or row) simultaneously. The sensor compiles the image by scanning across (or down). This camera module uses the USB UVC interface, which means it will work with Windows, Linux, and Apple systems.
