Our 250gsm Food Grade White Cardboard is specifically engineered as the base material for manufacturing freshness keeping cards - ethylene-absorbing or gas-regulating cards placed inside fruit and vegetable packaging to extend shelf life.
Product Advantages
Unlike ordinary paperboard, this specialized raw paper provides:
- High porosity and absorbency - easily carries active ingredients
- Excellent stiffness - maintains flat shape during printing, impregnation, and drying processes
- Food contact safety - complies with international regulations for indirect food additives
No coating, no lamination - ready to be impregnated with your proprietary freshness formula.

- Food Grade & Safe - Made from pure virgin pulp. Passes FDA 21 CFR 176.170 and EU regulations for food contact materials. No heavy metals, optical brighteners optional
- High Absorbency - Engineered capillary structure allows fast and uniform absorption of aqueous or solvent-based freshness solutions. Ensures even distribution of ethylene scavengers
- Excellent Dimensional Stability - Low curl and distortion after coating/impregnation and drying. Ideal for high-speed converting into small card formats
- High Stiffness & Tear Resistance - Provides robust handling. Cards remain rigid and do not collapse inside fruit cartons or bags
- Clean White Surface - Brightness > 85% ISO. Accepts flexo or digital printing for brand logos, usage instructions, and batch codes
