INTRODUCTION
After cutting off the pipeline buried long-time in underground, a relatively strong magnetic field will be generated at the pipe orifice, resulting in the inability to weld the pipeline. Also, it will lead to great impact on the welding, testing and other processes. HGXC series pipeline demagnetizer is to wind the cable at the orifice. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, a magnetic field will be temporarily formed at the orifice after power on. Through adjustment, the direction of the magnetic field is opposite to that of the pipeline magnetic field, so as to temporarily offset the original magnetic field and make the welding proceed smoothly.
During the construction of pipelines, it is crucial to ensure that the pipes are free from residual magnetism. This is because residual magnetism can affect the accuracy of magnetic-based inspection techniques, such as magnetic particle testing or magnetic flux leakage inspection, which are commonly used to detect defects or vulnerabilities in the pipes.
