In cameras, through-hole voice coil motors drive lens movement to achieve focusing. The lens and permanent magnet are fixed to the lens mount, which slides along a guide rod. The guide rod, coil, and Hall sensor are secured to the base. When the coil is energized, it drives the lens up and down for precise focusing.
Through-hole voice coil motors can be employed for focus adjustment in optical scanning systems. Hollow linear voice coil motors, featuring a small aperture that permits the passage of optical components, illumination, laser beams, or cables, enable rapid and precise focus positioning during optical scanning processes.
