Linear voice coil motors, with their direct linear drive, high dynamic response, and high positioning accuracy, have become the core drive solution for modern camera autofocus systems.
In voice coil motor focusing systems, the motor uses electromagnetic force to directly drive the lens group along the optical axis, enabling fast, smooth linear motion and achieving precise autofocus. Compared to traditional stepper motors or gear-driven mechanisms,Linear voice coil motors operate without mechanical contact, backlash, or friction, significantly improving focusing accuracy and repeatability.
