Traditional fiberglass filter media, which, while boasting higher dust holding capacity than some synthetic materials, has been shown to shed microscopic glass fibers into the airstream during normal operation.  Due to the potentially harmful effects of this reality, as well as the exposure of these particles to our team members during manufacture, TRAIRF Filters has chosen to remove this material from our standard product offering.
