Materials enter through the feed inlet and are immediately crushed by high-speed rotating hammers. The crushing process involves impact force, material-to-material collision, and friction with liner plates, safety plates, and sieve plates. Properly crushed materials discharge through the sieve chassis for subsequent screening.

Smooth surface with uniform color, typically fired using natural gas or coal powder fuel systems. Also known as face bricks for exterior applications.
