FAQ of hydraulic grapple for excavator

Q1: How many types of excavator grab?
A1: 3 types, mechanical grab, hydraulic grapple with rotation and hydraulic grapple withour rotation.

The excavator mechanical grab is driven by bucket cylinder, no additional hydraulic block and pipeline are needed.

The non-rotation hydraulic grapple should be controlled by adding a set of hydraulic valve block and pipeline.

The rotated hydraulic gripper needs to be controlled by adding two sets of hydraulic valve blocks and pipelines.

Q2: Should the telescopic boom carry a clamshell bucket or a grab bucket?

A2: The clamshell bucket does good help under the working condition of excavating sludge and sand, with larger excavation volume and higher efficiency.
