Butt welding elbow is a steel hot press forming or forging forming elbow, its connection form is directly butt welding elbow and steel pipe.

    Butt welding elbow according to its radius of curvature, can be divided into long radius butt welding elbow and short radius butt welding elbow. The curvature radius of the long radius butt welded elbow is equal to 1.5 times the outside diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.5D. The curvature radius of the short radius butt welded elbow is equal to the outside diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1D. Where D is the diameter of butt welded elbow and R is the radius of curvature. If there are no special instructions, the general choice is 1.5D elbow.

    According to the Angle of the elbow, there are 45 degrees butt welded elbow, 90 degrees butt welded elbow and 180 degrees butt welded elbow and other different angles of the elbow.
