The PRINT DLA67816SF is a double layer forming fabric engineered with a fine eight shed paper side weave over a sixteen shed wear side construction. The paper side features extra cross direction support yarns that deliver high fiber retention, while the robust wear side incorporates a pronounced CD crimp with medium diameter yarns for extended life potential. This unique combination achieves both high fiber support and very high drainage capacity within a single fabric design. The wear side's long CD crimp effectively protects MD warp yarns from abrasion. The robust construction withstands high MD loads and resists CD ridging, making this fabric particularly suitable for printing and writing paper as well as newsprint production.
